They set the tone for your pharmacy experience – and give you confidence that you will be treated well as you seek to be well.
Patients Come First
In our business, it’s personal. We delight in sharing in the lives of our customers. We celebrate your victories and mourn your losses. And, as healthcare professionals, we commit to continually educating ourselves on the latest treatments available to provide you the highest level of clinical services.
Treat Others How You Want to be Treated
We treat each person with dignity and value. In our conversations, on good days and bad, whether reciprocated or not, you can always expect this from our staff.
Choose to Encourage
The tongue is a powerful weapon, and our staff focuses on using it to build up, not tear down. That’s why each employee abides by our zero-tolerance gossip policy, making sure you are treated with the respect you deserve – even when you’re not in the room.
Wisdom, Integrity, and Trust
We pursue wisdom every day, and we pursue integrity in every decision. It’s what makes us a business you can trust with your most precious asset – your health.
Our Mission
To serve the great citizens of the Lakeway Area by providing exceptional service and low-cost prescription medications, enabling every customer to achieve positive outcomes, improve their health, and reach a maximum quality of life.

Laura Thacker Walker
Laura Walker is a Jefferson City native who completed her pre-pharmacy studies at Carson-Newman University before earning her PharmD degree from the University of Tennessee College of Pharmacy. She brings 31 years of community pharmacy experience providing patient care, managing pharmacies, and mentoring pharmacy students. The first 27 years of her career, she held these positions in the Memphis and Charlotte areas but returned home to Jefferson City in 2020 to serve her hometown. “Joining Mossy Creek Pharmacy will enable me to provide a personalized approach to your unique healthcare needs and that of our community. See you soon at Mossy Creek.”
Laura and her husband Steve have three sons. They enjoy watching their boys build their careers and grow their families. As a grandmother, Laura’s goal is to ensure her grandchildren bleed orange: cheering on both Tennessee and Carson-Newman. She is training her grandchildren to sing Rocky Top especially loud on days Tennessee plays Arkansas since her husband is an avid Arkansas fan.
Chad Huntsman
Chad Huntsman was born and raised in Morristown. He attended Tennessee Technological University in Cookeville, where he earned a degree in mechanical engineering. He attended Lipscomb University College of Pharmacy from 2011-2015, graduating with a Doctor of Pharmacy degree. Chad came back to College Park Pharmacy to work alongside his father in serving patients. He said, "Working with the same customers that my Dad has helped for generations has been wonderful. It is those relationships that bring so much joy to my job." His desire is for College Park Pharmacy to become the best clinical pharmacy in Morristown.
Jacob Cox
Jacob Cox was born and raised in Lexington, Ky., with his two older brothers. He studied biochemistry while playing soccer and tennis while an undergrad at Asbury University. Following graduation from Asbury, he attended pharmacy school at Lipscomb University in Nashville, Tenn., where he met and sat next to Chad Huntsman for two years. After pharmacy school, he went back to Kentucky to complete his pharmacy residency in a hospital, moving to Morristown soon after to work with Chad and Joe at College Park Pharmacy. Outside of work, Jacob loves church, playing golf and tennis, traveling, adventuring and UK basketball. “People don’t care how much you know, until they know how much you care. I want people to know how much I care by being a champion for their health and families.”
